Hexatronic was founded in 1993. The company’s headquarter are in Gothenburg, Sweden. Originally, Hexatronic focused on products and solutions for the communications sector and has transformed over the years from supplying a wide range of telecom and electronic data components to becoming a complete systems provider. How many staff members are on the team currently & do you find it difficult to find quality local and international staff?
We currently have approximately 550 co-workers employed in 9 countries. Our expansion is global and when we acquire companies, staff quality is essential.
Do any of the staff and or management team hold any shares within the company?
Of course, both the management team and myself have (791 000 shares) and Lennart, my CFO has (30 000 shares). Most members of the Management team hold shares in Hexatronic. There are great numbers of co-workers which also are shareholders.
During your time at the company, what's been your greatest achievement thus far?
That we have grown from a Swedish company to an international company. In 2017 49% of our revenue came from Sweden and we target to reduce that further by geographical expansion.
What is your medium to long-term goal & has it been consistent for some time?
We have three financial goals, see below.
Our profitability goal is to have an EBITDA margin (EBITDA as a percentage of net sales) of at least 10% on a rolling 12-month basis.
Our growth target is to grow more than its market organically. The Group strives for an average annual growth of at least 20%. The growth will be both organic and acquisition-driven. We have an active acquisition strategy.
On financial stability, the group shall have an equity ratio of at least 30%. Our vision is to bring connectivity to everyone by outstanding fiber optic solutions.
What sets your company apart from others within your industry?
Our unique selling point (USP) is that we are the only player in the market who can offer a complete system solution of passive components for the fibreoptic market, including training.
